About the Authors
 

 DrSonnyZulhuda

Dr Sonny Zulhuda is an Associate Professor at Ahmad Ibrahim Kulliyyah of Laws, International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). He has taught cyber law courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels for 20 years. He was involved with several government agencies on cyber law-related works in the areas of cyber security, personal data protection, critical national information infrastructure and data sharing legislations. Dr Sonny is a member of the Malaysian Personal Data Protection Appeal Tribunal, ISACA, the Internet Society, ICANN Fellowship, International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), and the Global Internet Governance Academic Network (GigaNet).
 

 DrRidoanKarim

Dr Ridoan Karim is a lecturer at the Department of Business Law & Taxation, School of Business, Monash University Malaysia. He has designed the Cyber Law Unit at Monash Malaysia for undergraduate and postgraduate studies. Dr Ridoan has worked as a consultant and fellow on various projects funded by the University of Malaya and Monash Data Futures Institute (MDFI), and regularly conducts professional trainings in collaboration with Monash University, the REHDA-Institute Digital Marketing program, ESSELARO as well as various private and public entities. Dr Ridoan holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from the University of Malaya, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Chichester, UK, a Master of Comparative Laws (MCL) from International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from BRAC University, Bangladesh.
