Nallini Pathmanathan

Justice Nallini Pathmanathan is a judge of the Federal Court to which she was elevated in 2018. She was invited to join the Bench in 2007 after an accomplished career in legal practice where she practised in various fields, including family, industrial relations, administrative law, banking, insolvency and medical negligence. At the High Court of Malaya, Justice Nallini was a commercial judge and later an admiralty judge. At the Court of Appeal where she served from 2014 to 2018, her work was largely focused on commercial law.

 

A Bencher of The Honourable Society of the Middle Temple, Justice Nallini is the President of The Middle Temple Alumni Association of Malaysia. In 2006 she became a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators as well as a certified mediator. Justice Nallini currently sits on the Judicial Appointments Commission.
