About the Authors:
 
Chris Chin Shang Yoon is the Founding and Managing Partner of Shang & Co, a well-established, award-winning legal firm in Malaysia which has been awarded, among others, as the Matrimonial and Family Law Firm of the Year in ALB Malaysia Law Awards 2016 and the Family Law Firm of the Year 2018 by Corporate INTL in Global Awards Winner 2018. He holds a LLB (Hons) Degree from the University of London, a Certificate in Legal Practice (CLP) from the Legal Profession Qualifying Board of Malaysia, a Diploma in Business Marketing and has completed a Master of Laws (LLM) from the University of Malaya. Chris is actively involved in Matrimonial and Family Law. He is a familiar face at the High Court and the Court of Appeal with vast experience dealing with contested family and divorce issues including international family law disputes.
 
Fion Wong Sook Ling is a Partner of Shang & Co and holds a LLB (Hons) Degree from the University of London and a Certificate in Legal Practice (CLP) from the Legal Profession Qualifying Board of Malaysia. Fion is actively involved in Matrimonial and Family Law. She is mainly involved in contested matters of family disputes and divorce including but not limited to claiming or enforcing wife and children maintenance orders, child custody, cross-border child abduction, matrimonial property division, adultery, adoption and international aspects of family law, involving family matters in Malaysia and other jurisdictions.
