Prof. Dato’ Dr. Aishah Bidin FASc is a Professor of Corporate and Insolvency Law at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). She has been an academic staff of the Faculty of Law of UKM since 1984. Her areas of specialisation include company and corporate finance law, securities regulation and insolvency law. She has been lecturing on company and partnership law since 1989.

 

At present, Prof. Dato’ Dr. Aishah Bidin is a Board Member of the Companies Commission of Malaysia and was a former Executive Council Member of the International Centre for Law and Legal Studies (I- CeLL) of the Attorney General Chambers of Malaysia. She served as a member of the Review Committee of Bankruptcy and Corporate Insolvency Law of Malaysia, under the Insolvency Department, Prime Minister’s Department of Malaysia (2011) and was a member of the Steering Committee of the Malaysian Corporate Law Reform Committee (2009). She has also written for various Malaysian and British academic journals on company, securities and insolvency law over the years.
