Dr Akmal Hidayah Halim is an Associate Professor at the Ahmad Ibrahim Kulliyyah of Laws, International Islamic University Malaysia, where she has been teaching since 1999. She obtained her doctoral degree in 2006 in the area of estates administration in Malaysia. Her other publications include a book entitled The Law of Wills and Intestacy in Malaysia and the Malaysian volume of International Encyclopedia on Family and Succession Law. She is a contributor to the Malaysian Civil Procedure and writes journal articles in the area of law of succession, Islamic wealth management and trust.
