SY Kok retired as senior partner of an established Malaysian law firm after over 40 years in legal practice. His many years of conveyancing and commercial practice have given him a wealth of experience in Malaysian banking, housing and property law. He has written more than 30 published articles on specialist property and banking law topics, and has presented papers in seminars and conferences and delivered guest lectures to undergraduates and graduates for LLM programmes.

 

He previously authored The Torrens System and Equitable Principles (Sweet & Maxwell Asia, 2010).
